  i have been doing research on the arc as some people on here have suggested.

  i find it interesting on the case file analysis some of the findings.

  it looks like queensland and new south wales had the biggest problems with this.

It's not a personal attack on you that I don't see things the same as you. We have different backgrounds, different perspectives, so we come to different conclusions. It's life 😀

  Your numbers have nothing to do with people not punished by law enforcement, how could they?

  My beliefs, are just that, mine. And yours belong to you. I don't need to change mine, and you don't need to change yours if you are happy with them. We both have beliefs, we believe are firmly rooted and I am happy with mine. I don't need your validation or permission to have whatever beliefs I choose.

  You want everyone to agree with you, to validate your point of view. We don't all have to agree on anything, that's the benefit of being an ex-jw.

  I am not concerned with the numbers. People who know they are being watched, whether by police, their neighbors, or parole officers do not have the same access to children as persons who have never been arrested.

  By allowing sexual predators to remain in contact with children, and not letting authorities handle the predators, the Jehovah's Witnesses become guilty. Are they guilty for every instance of abuse? No. But they are guilty when they knew someone was a predator (inside the family or outside) and did nothing to stop him/her from molesting the same child or another child again.

  When people register as a sex offender the police do monitor them, check to make sure they haven't moved etc. They are not allowed to live near schools etc. Their names, pictures, and addresses are published publicly so the community and schools know who they are.

  When they move into a neighborhood you are notified, regardless of whether they are on parole or not. Giving parents and other adults a chance to protect children from predators.

  Please quit with the lawyeresque posts.

  Did you read what you just posted? "Registration is not considered part of the parole or probation as individuals who are released following serving their full sentence is still required to register".

  Meaning that just because they are no longer on probation they are still monitored under the sex offenders registry. It just means probation and parole aren't monitoring. The sex offenders still have to register with the local police.

  I believe your DOJ statistics don't tell the whole story of what the report actually said. If you examine it carefully it states those statistics are for sex offenders that are being actively monitored by law enforcement or on sex offender registries so that parents and schools know these people should not be around children.

  If Jehovah's Witnesses would just allow the authorities to take care of abuse issues, they would not have the problems they do.

  edited to add: recidivism rates only include the number of times someone got caught reoffending.

  jehovah's witnesses officials always tells that once we dedicated our lives to god, we need to do his will till the 'end' of the system or end of our life.. and they always quote the scripture eccl 5:5.. then, what about the properties worldwide?

  kingdom halls, buildings in new york 97columbia heights, hotel margaret, head quarter buildings in brooklyn and many properties once they dedicated to god but now they are freely selling the properties.

  once dedicated to god, the properties became god's.. if we consider samson's example, judges 13:5 stating about samson that "no razor shall come on his head; .

  For all the times I have been threatened with the wrath of God it's never happened. So saying "God is unchanged. You will get your punishment." means nothing. The Witnesses will get no punishment from God. They might get punishment from governments and people of this world that they have inflicted harm upon, but God, no.
